From May 18 to 19, the ‘DKU Festival PRISM’ was held at Dankook University (DKU) Cheonan Campus. The festival, which returned three years since the aftermath of COVID-19, received lots of attention even before the festival.

The Student Council prepared various events for Dankookians (Students of DKU) to enjoy, such as performance stages, departmental booths, club booths, and food trucks. The booths with high participation were a tattoo sticker booth operated by Saranghakae, an abandoned dog volunteer club, and a rose delivery booth, operated by the Student Council of Dept. of Dental Hygiene. Another meaningful event was ’25, 41,’ a singing contest where professors and students participate together to make a bond. In addition, the performance by celebrities, which is called the ‘flower of the festival’ in Korean, heated the festival. As the best part of the festival, a huge crowd gathered in the school field.

The festival went beyond the significance of the festival and boosted the vitality and participation of university life for many students. The Dankook Herald hopes that Dankookians will experience more liveliness on the campus during the second semester.
